The Holidays are coming, have you pre-booked your appointments?

The holidays might still feel a little way off, and we’re not asking you to put up the tree just yet. But holiday appointments? Those are worth thinking about before the rest of your calendar takes over.

If you’d like a fresh cut, colour, or some attention for the season, consider this your friendly reminder to plan ahead with Envy Beauty Den in Campbell River. Whether you’re picturing a familiar refresh or something a little different, start with the dates that matter to you and work backwards from there.

It’s one less thing to squeeze in between gift shopping, work parties and figuring out what you’re bringing to dinner.

Plan your holiday hair and skincare appointments around your life

You don’t need your entire Fall/Winter calendar sorted before thinking about yourself. Start with what you already know: a work celebration, family photos, a trip away or the week you’d like to feel a little more put together.

For example, if you’re leaving town, use your departure dates as your starting point rather than Last minute squeaking in or looking for openings. If your work party is in November, that may be the occasion you want to plan around first.

Before booking, take a quick look at:

  • Your key dates: Think about photos, parties, travel and gatherings.

  • Your own availability: Note the days and times you can comfortably make an appointment.

  • Your preferred result: Decide whether you want your usual refresh or would like to discuss a change. Is your goal going to take a couple appointments to pull off without damaging your hair? Do you have the right skincare products for the season?

The goal isn’t to add another task to your holiday list. It’s to take one off it.

Book for the hair and skin you want, not just an open spot

A free space in your calendar is only half the picture. The other half is making sure you’re booking the appointment that matches what you have in mind.

If you usually book a root touch-up but are thinking about a different colour direction, mention that before choosing your appointment. The same goes if you’re considering a new cut rather than your usual trim.

You don’t need to know the salon terminology. “I’d like to feel brighter around my face” or “I want smoother softer skin” is a useful place to start.

You don’t need a big transformation for the holidays

Holiday planning doesn’t have to mean a completely new look either. If you already love your colour and cut, keeping things familiar is a perfectly good plan. If you just need some regular skincare maintenance, we can do that too.

Think about what would make the biggest difference to you. Maybe it’s tidying up your shape, refreshing your usual colour or asking how to maintain the skin quality you already have.

If a bigger change is on your mind, make that a conversation rather than a last-minute decision. Bring your ideas and our team what approach and timing they recommend for your goals.

There’s no single appointment date that’s right for everyone. Choose your timing with your stylist instead of assuming the day before an event is always best.

Give yourself one less thing to think about

Pre-booking isn’t about rushing into the holiday season. It’s about leaving a little room to enjoy it.

At your next visit, ask about planning your holiday appointment before you leave. Or, if you already know what you’d like to book, take a moment now to look at your calendar and make a plan.

Your holidays shouldn't ONLY be planned around what everyone else needs. Let us make sure you have time to prioritize yourself too, the rest can wait a minute.
