Whether you're a first-time visitor or a longtime client, we get asked a lot of the same great questions - about booking, prepping for treatments, and what to expect once you're in the chair. So we pulled together our most frequently asked questions into one place, to help you feel prepared and confident before your next visit.

Booking Your Appointment

Q: Do I need to book in advance, or can I walk in?

A: We recommend booking ahead to guarantee your preferred time and stylist or esthetician, especially for facials, laser treatments, and color services. These appointments tend to fill up quickly, particularly around seasonal transitions when everyone's looking to refresh their look at once. You can book online anytime, day or night, whenever it's convenient for you.

Q: How far in advance should I book laser hair removal or laser skin rejuvenation?

A: These treatments are done in a series for best results, so we recommend booking your first consultation 6 to 8 weeks before any event or seasonal deadline you're working toward. This gives us time to map out your full treatment plan and space out sessions properly, so you see real results rather than rushing the process.

Q: What's your cancellation policy?

A: We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling so we can offer your spot to another client who may be waiting. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee prior to rebooking. We understand life happens - just give us a call or message as soon as you know your plans have changed.

Preparing for Your Visit

Q: What should I do to prepare for a facial or peel?

A: Come with a clean face if possible (no makeup), avoid sun exposure and active ingredients like retinol for 2 to 3 days prior, and let us know about any skin sensitivities during booking. A little prep goes a long way toward helping your skin respond well to treatment and minimizing any downtime afterward.

Q: Can I bring in inspiration photos for a hair color or cut?

A: Absolutely - we love them! Photos help us understand exactly the look, tone, and dimension you're going for, and they make it much easier for your stylist to translate your vision into a plan that works with your hair's natural texture and condition. Don't worry about finding the "perfect" match; even a general vibe or color family is a great starting point for the conversation.

Q: Do you offer consultations before committing to a service?

A: Yes, especially for hair extensions, laser treatments, and skincare packages. Consultations help us build a plan that's realistic for your hair or skin and your budget, so there are no surprises and you feel confident about what to expect before you commit to a full series or transformation.

Skincare & Aftercare

Q: What skincare products do you carry?

A: We carry Dermalogica, a professional-grade line used in all of our facials and recommended for home care based on your skin's specific needs. Your esthetician can walk you through a personalized routine during your appointment so your results last well beyond the treatment itself.

Q: Is it normal for skin to look flushed after a facial or peel?

A: Yes, mild redness or warmth is completely normal immediately after treatments like peels or HydraFacials and typically settles within a few hours. Your skin is responding exactly as it should - think of it as the first sign that your treatment is working.
